Ellenton, Florida - Marvin Frederick Steier passed away on June 10, 2025, in Ellenton, Florida. Born on November 24, 1936, Marvin was the only child of Samuel and Yetta Steier.
Marvin was the devoted husband to the love of his life, Diana Steier. He was a proud and loving father to Alan (Golda), Madeline, and Susan (Craig), and a grandfather to Ari, Lily (Douglas), Rebecca (Kavan), Jonah (Tina), Hannah (David), Juliette, Ethan, Cole and Stella. Marvin also delighted in being the great-grandfather to great grandchildren Charlotte, Niko, and Jacob.
In addition to their immediate family, Marvin was a caring step-father to Jason, Joshua, and Rachel (Devin), and a step-grandfather to eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Marvin served his country with pride in the United States Navy. Known for being an encouraging and patient teacher, he brought positivity into every aspect of life. An avid athlete with a deep appreciation for both family and country, Marvin's legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering positivity for those around them.
A private burial will be held on June 20 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
