Bradenton, Florida - Mary Catherine Arado "Cathy" peacefully left this earth on 1/23/2024.
Cathy was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 21, 1942, the daughter of Thomas C. Arado, Jr., and Marion (Monaco) Arado. She was predeceased by both parents and her older brother, Thomas C. Arado, III. Surviving her is her younger brother, "Jack" Arado (Mary Lou Arado) and 4 nieces and nephews.
Cathy was a graduate of Oak Park/ River Forest High school and Northeast Missouri State Teachers College. She taught 8th Grade math in Illinois and Colorado for over 35 years. Once retired, she continued to teach at the Brush Colorado Junior College and volunteered her time at the local library with her friends in the library club.
Her ashes will be laid to rest at the Arado Family plots, with the rest of her family, at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, in Hillside Illinois.
