Bradenton, Florida - Born to be a nurse. She attended Catholic schools in Brooklyn and entered Kings county Hospital of nursing, graduating in 1966.
She was a staff nurse at Kings county hospital, long time school nurse in Manatee county, Nursing Coordinator, adjunct professor of health education.
Higher education: B.S. in community health, M.S. in health education.
Serviced by her husband, Richard and Karen Barrett (Josie), Robert A Stoker Jr., (Annette) and Sandra M Carter (Steven). She also enjoyed her 4 grandchildren, Di - Anna (Manny), Bobby (Bianca), Joseph and Kierra and 7 great-grandchildren.
She has been a Eucharist Minister at St Joseph's and an active AAUW, Red Cross, Exchange Club, League of Women Voters and many other local Service organizations.
Services will be at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM, followed by a gathering of friends and family at Bayshore High school.
