Mass Shooting Leaves at Least 4 Dead at Ft Hood

Posted

BRADENTON – A mass shooting Wednesday night left at least 4 people dead and at least 14 more wounded at Fort Hood, the Army post that in 2009 was the site of the deadliest shooting ever at an American military installation.

Representative Michael McCaul (R-Texas) said on a conference call with reporters that as many as four people were killed, including the shooter, who was wearing an Army uniform at the time, though it is unclear whether he was on active duty. Representative McCaul is Chair of the House Homeland Security Committee.

FoxNews.com cited a senior Department of Homeland Security source in reporting that it was apparently a "soldier on soldier" incident without any apparent terrorism link.
