The family of Maurice “Mo” R. Kocher is deeply saddened to announce his passing on April 18, 2026. Born on November 3, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, Mo lived a life filled with laughter, generosity, and love for his family and friends.
Mo proudly served in the Army National Guard and went on to work as a supervisor and driver, while also dedicating time to coaching. He spent his years doing what he loved—participating in a variety of sports, playing cards, and mentoring others.
He will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Barb; his sister Joan; his daughter, Wendy; his son, Sean; their mother, Karen; his grandchildren, Justine, Ryan, Kaiden, and Oliva; as well as many cherished friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott.
A memorial service will be held at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209 on April 24 at 4:00 p.m. An additional celebration of life will take place on May 15, 2026, in Michigan.
