Mayor's Corner: Gene Brown

On May 20, the Bradenton Public Market will help us celebrate our city's 120th birthday! The birthday bash will run from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and will celebrate our city's first 119 years.

More than looking back, though, I am excited to look forward to what our city has in store. Our city has 119 years behind it, and we are proud of that. Now I'm proud to be part of the exciting initiatives we are bringing forward for its future.

I hope you'll come to the Public Market on May 20 to have a free birthday cookie and celebrate Happy Birthday to us!
