BRADENTON — On Sunday, Aug. 31, McCurdy's Comedy Club in downtown Sarasota will bring a special Kiss-themed Laser light show to downtown Bradenton. The event is being held to raise funds for Bay Area comedian Steve Arik, a McCurdy's regular, as he battles a stage 4 cancer diagnosis.
The event will feature a one-hour laser light show in the planetarium set to the music of rock legends KISS on the Bishop's state-of-the-art sound system. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for refreshments and socializing. The event starts at 6:00 p.m.
Arik is an award-winning comedy club veteran of over 25 years. Tickets are available at the McCurdy's website. The Bishop Planetarium is located at 201 10th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205.
