On November 8, 2013 Lisa Christian obtained injunction paperwork from the Clerk’s Office to be delivered to an elderly crime victim. When Lisa arrived at the victim’s home she knocked on the door with no answer which concerned her because the victim had advised her earlier that she did not have a vehicle and did not go out much due to poor health. Lisa tried knocking on the door again and called out to the victim through an open front window when she heard someone moaning in distress. Lisa then entered the residence and found the elderly victim wilting down in a chair at the table unresponsive and called 911. EMS arrived shortly after her call and assisted the elderly victim who was then transported to the hospital.
The outcome of this incident would not have been the same without her perseverance. For her prompt response Lisa Christian is awarded Employee of the Month for November 2013.
