Michael Allen Jensen, affectionately known as Mike or MJ, passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 70.
Mike grew up in the Bloomington and Richfield area, where he spent his formative years. He went on to build a career in the automotive industry, a field he was dedicated to throughout his life. He served his country in the Marine Corp during the Viet Nam war.
He is survived by the love of his life and soulmate, Valerie Church; his sister, Renae Raymond; and Sadie, his beloved dog and member of his family. Mike will also be deeply missed by extended family and countless friends who cherished his presence in their lives.
A memorial service to honor Mike's life is pending and will be announced at a later date at Eagle Brook Church, near and dear to both Mike and Valerie.
Mike loved football! He could be found all fall watching college football, particularly Minnesota Gophers, and NFL. He never gave up on the Vikings!
His dream was to move to Florida and enjoy the warm weather. Sadly we didn't have lot of time at the beaches, especially after the hurricanes!
