MICHAEL LIVINGSTON MILLER was born on February 21, 1956, in Nassau, Commonwealth of The Bahamas. He was the only son born to Herbert Miller, now deceased, and to Gaynell Rolle Miller, now deceased. He spent most of his early childhood there under their watchful, loving care. Early in the 1960's he migrated to the United States with his sister, Mildred Moten-Golden. They spent most of his adolescent years together in upstate New York where he was an active Boy Scout and an avid baseball player. In the 1970's he moved to Florida to be near his sister, Mildred, and he has resided in Manatee County ever since then. Over the years he was employed in food service, tomato packing, and various other manual labor types of jobs.

In the 2000's he joined his sister as a member at Ward Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church, in Bradenton, Florida. He was a serious participant in Bible Study and became a regular attendee in Sunday School. For most of his adult life he was challenged by various and sundry physical and mental health issues. For the last several years of his life, he was an outpatient at Centerstone of Florida, Inc. (formerly Manatee Glens), and a patient/resident of the Manatee Springs Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

It was there on April 19, 2025, that he passed away peacefully from his earthly labor to his heavenly reward. He will be remembered in great love by his three sisters: Mildred Moten-Golden (Rev. James T.), of Bradenton, Florida, Nora Rolle Foster (Cornelius), of Houston, Texas, and Virginia Jones (Widowed), of Nassau, Bahamas. He will also be sadly mourned by a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great grand-nieces, great grand-nephews, and many other family and friends.
