Michael Slicis, 63, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on July 9, 2024. He was previously from Fayetteville, Arkansas. Mike was the son of Mary Ellen and Anthony Slicis.
He is survived by his two children: Amy Reed (Justin) of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Mat Slicis (Kristi) of Van Buren, Arkansas. Mike has 3 grandchildren: Sumer (Toby), Phoenix, and Marley; and 1 great- grandchild, Ezra. He was predeceased by his wife, Kim (Piazza), of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Mike was the oldest sibling to Kathleen, Nancy (Bacon), Mary, and Timothy (Melinda). Mike was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved nature walks, the beach, and trips to the zoo. Elephants were his favorite.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and very proud of his service to our country.
His final resting place will be at Sarasota National Cemetery. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209, is in charge of arrangements.
