January 17, 1968 – May 14, 2025
Michael Anthony Wiggins, 57, passed away on May 14, 2025, after a courageous three-year battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Born in Natchez, Mississippi, on January 17, 1968, Michael lived with unwavering determination, wit, and heart until the very end.
Michael worked as an SBA underwriter and was known for his sharp mind, integrity, and tireless work ethic. Beyond his profession, he was a man of many passions-an aficionado of fine watches and bourbon and a lover of travel, Trump, and sea turtles. He lived boldly and unapologetically, embracing life with a sense of adventure and humor that never wavered-even through 72 rounds of chemotherapy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jaime Wiggins; his sister, Sherrie Loffler; brother-in-law, Ivan Loffler; nephew, Will Loffler; and many cousins, all of whom will deeply miss his presence, wisdom, and laughter. To those who knew him, Michael was more than family or friend-he was a superhero and an inspiration.
Michael spent the years following his diagnosis making memories, embracing every moment, and reminding those around him how to live with courage and gratitude. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and resilience.
A funeral service will be held on May 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home in Bradenton, Florida, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Sanctuary Cove Clubhouse. A second Celebration of Life will be held in Allen, Texas, on July 5th to honor his memory with those who loved him from afar.
In honor of Michael's fight against cancer, the family welcomes donations to The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
