Mindi Robin Schreffler (nee Sparkler), also known as Sparky, passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 69 in Ellenton, Florida. She was born on March 22, 1954, in Philadelphia, PA. Mindi was married to her beloved husband Ken, affectionately known as Schreff, for close to 50 years, she loved the beach & palm trees, however her family held the most special place in her heart.
Mindi started her career in insurance underwriting, before dedicating herself to raising her three sons. She later pursued a career in retail, excelling in sales and management. However, her true passion lay in her work at Bloomers and Springdale Farm, where she loved working with plants and being surrounded by the farm. Mindi's dedication to her customers and coworkers created lasting friendships.
Mindi and Ken moved to Florida, where she enjoyed sunny beaches and palm trees in their retirement.
Mindi is survived by her husband Ken, sons Stefan, Jared, and Kyle, daughter-in-law Sara, grandchildren Aviva and Jameson, sisters Ellen Einsbruch and Erica Reisman, her beloved canine companion Kelce, and cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Elayne Sparkler and father Stanley Sparkler.
A Memorial service to celebrate Mindi's life will be held on Monday, February 26th at 3:00pm at Holiday Inn Cherry Hill, 2175 Marlton Pike West, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in Mindi's honor.
