BRADENTON – Dr. Michael B.Spellman, specializing in Marriage Counseling and Small Business Consulting at Carter Psychology Center, has been elected Chairman of the newly reorganized Psychologists of Florida, PAC.
As a Licensed Psychologist with 21 years of business consulting experience Dr. Spellman brings an understanding of the needs of patients, doctors, and the small businesses that fund health insurance to the role of Chairman.
Practicing in Florida since 1987, Dr. Spellman received his Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin, two Masters’ degrees from Columbia University, and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. He is certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Family Law Mediator and is a Qualified Parenting Coordinator.
Dr. Spellman is also the co-founder of the National Cooperative Parenting Center (NCPC) with offices across Florida offering a wide spectrum of services to the Mental Health and Legal Communities as well as to families and children who are struggling with divorce related issues. Dr. Spellman is on the medical staff at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and Blake Medical Center.
