Movers and Shakers: Tom Seguin Attends National Gems and Jewelry Conclave

Posted

BRADENTON – Tom Seguin, Master Gemologist Appraiser of Bradenton's Suncoast Gem Lab, recently attended the 11th annual Polygon Conclave held in St. Petersburg, FL on August 15-17.

The Polygon Conclave brings together jewelry and diamond dealers and manufacturers from almost every state in the US and Canada. The purpose for the annual conclave is to provide a forum where industry leaders can share information on new developments in the gems and jewelry industry.

Two highlights of this conclave were the panel discussion on GIA Diamond Grading Reports vs. the many other diamond grading lab reports and the unveiling of a new colored gemstone color communication system developed by Richard Drucker of Gemworld International and Tom Tashey of Professional Gem Sciences Laboratory.
