Movers and Shakers: Wagner Realty Hosts Luncheon for Former Presidents of Realtor Associations on Staff

BRADENTON – Two weeks ago, Wagner Realty President David Eckel and his wife Joanne hosted a luncheon at the Bradenton Country Club to honor their leadership team, which includes 8 former Presidents of the Manatee Association of REALTORS® (MAR) and the Sarasota Association of REALTORS® (SAR). Eckel said he doubts any company ever had that many association presidents on their staff.

Former MAR Presidents now at Wagner are: Sarah Jackson, 1990, Ron Cornette, 1995, Sandy French, 1996, Polly Gaar, 1997, Betty Gambrell, 2001, Joan Oliszewski, 2005, Cindy Greco, 2010 and Nick Figlow, who served as President of SAR in 2004.

The branch managers attending, but not former association presidents were: Sandy Greiner at Cortez, Gina Uliano at West Manatee, Becky Smith at Anna Maria, Gerry Feudo at East Manatee, Iva Fadley-Dane at Sarasota First Street and Diane Lee in Lakewood Ranch.

Wagner Realty has a large number of agents who currently serve on or chair committees for the Florida REALTORS® (FR) and several past FR Vice Presidents. "It is their involvement in the real estate industry that prepared them for leadership," Eckel said.
