SARASOTA – WCI Communities, the Bonita Springs-based lifestyle community developer, homebuilder and services provider, has named Holly Stockell and Bill Travers as community representatives for Sarasota National.
Previously with WCI’s Tidewater Preserve and Venetian Golf & River Club communities, Stockell brings more than 15 years of real estate sales experience to Sarasota National.
Travers has spent more than 10 years in single-family and new-construction home sales in the Sarasota and Manatee county markets. He most recently served as community representative at Venetian Golf & River Club.
Stockell and Travers will welcome visitors at the new Sarasota National sales center, located at the main entrance to the community on U.S. 41, about 1.5 miles east of Jacaranda Boulevard and 20 miles south of downtown Sarasota. The sales center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Sarasota National is WCI’s newest community, offering an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Gordon Lewis and certified as an Audubon International Signature Sanctuary. The golf facilities include a pro shop, driving range, and chipping and putting greens.

Sarasota National encompasses 2,400 acres, with 1,300 acres designated for preservation, conservation and open space. The community is approved for 1,584 homes, including 800 homes surrounding the golf course and country club portion of the community.
Homebuyers can choose from home designs ranging from 1,593 to more than 2,300 square feet of living space, with prices starting in the low $200,000s.
Future planned amenities at Sarasota National include a resort-style clubhouse with dining and gathering spaces, fitness, tennis courts and swimming.
