Tampa, Florida - Nancy C. Bush, 77, peacefully died passed away on October 13, 2023, surrounded by family. She was born in Paterson, NJ, on November 22, 1945, to loving parents, Courtney and Elizabeth. She is predeceased by her parents and husband, Arnie. She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie (Jed) Thomas, and Katherine (George) Kouris; her grandchildren, Hayden, Harper, Emily, Niko, and Zoe; her sister, Janet (Mike) Seigler; and her brother, Courtney Cummings.
She moved to Bradenton when she was 12 years old, where she graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in special education, forming a career around working with ESE children. She spent most of her life not only raising her two daughters but also never being afraid to step in as a mother figure for friends and family. She had a passion for reading and writing and enjoyed baking for friends and family. She had a love for M&M's and burnt bacon often dipped in butter. Above all else, she enjoyed caring for and spending time with her five grandchildren, especially during the holidays.
A Memorial Visitation will be held 1-3 PM, Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West Bradenton, FL 34209.
