Nancy Fisher

Nancy L. Fisher of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on July 13, 2024. She was born on May 17, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, to Louis and Eleanor (Lotrich) Kramer. After graduating from Riverside Brookfield High School, she went to work for Sears, Roebuck at their national headquarters in Chicago as a stenographer. She held a number of secretarial positions in various buying departments and for 11 years was secretary to the executive assistant to the President and CEO. When she left Sears in July of 1975, she was secretary to the Vice President of Corporate Planning.

On July 25, 1975, Nancy married the love of her life, Gerry Fisher, a native of Louisville, Kentucky. They resided in Louisville for six years and then moved to Hinsdale, Illinois, a Chicago suburb. In June of 1995, they moved to Bradenton where Gerry served on the Code Enforcement Board of the City of Bradenton for 13 years and was the liaison between Pinebrook/Ironwood and the City of Bradenton until his death in May of 2018. When they wed, Nancy became stepmother to Gerry's three children, daughters, Jerrilynn and Bonnie, and son, Steven. Nancy was a social member of the Pinebrook/Ironwood Ladies Golf Association. She enjoyed reading, good movies, cruising and traveling around the country.

Services will be private for the family. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3100 26th Street, Bradenton FL 34205. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209, is in charge of the arrangements.
