Nancy E. Grimes, age 78, passed away at her home Monday, September 30th, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida. Nancy grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and attended Olmsted Falls High School (Class of 1964). She later studied at the State College of Florida. She enjoyed a lifetime of learning and taught herself how to do many things. She spent much of her time devoted to writing poetry, music, and playing the piano. Her hobbies included sewing, doll making, needle crafts, watercolor painting, watching classic movies, and reading. She was also a member of the Extension Homemakers Club and the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her 5 children: Angela (Steve) Greenhaw, Jonesboro, AR; Patricia (Benny) Sawyer, Westville, OK; Sharon (Darrel) Baker, Jonesboro, AR; Diane (Richard) Frenzel, Greenland, AR; Louis (Dion) Alterici, Pea Ridge, AR. Patrick J. Alterici, Westville, OK is the father of her children. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her sister Carolyn Petlowany, Carmichael, CA; and many nephews and nieces.
Nancy is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Lewis Grimes, Bradenton, FL; her granddaughter, Deandria Alterici, Pea Ridge, AR; her parents, Frederick J. & Permilla Kucklick, Olmsted Falls, OH; her siblings: Virginia Worthington, Bethesda, MD; Thomas J. Kucklick and William R. Kucklick, Olmsted Falls, OH.
As per Nancy's request no funeral or memorial service will be held.
