Nancy C. McMahon (née Moran), 81, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Agawam, Massachusetts, entered into eternal rest on March 15, 2024, with her loving family at her bedside. Born on September 27, 1942, in Auburn, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Katherine (Hayes) Moran and Edward Moran. Nancy was the devout wife to the late William McMahon, Jr., and was predeceased by her brothers, Jackie (John) and Edward Moran, Jr.
Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love to her children; Katherine McMahon-Zimmerman, William McMahon III, Christine (David) McMahon, John (Holly) McMahon and her adored grandchildren, nieces and nephews and with cherished memories to her loving siblings; Patricia Donnelly of North Oxford, MA, Milton Moran of Rochdale, MA, and Michael (Debbie) Moran of Dunedin, FL.
As a graduate of Burncoat High School in Worcester, Massachusetts, Nancy (Red) was active with Student Council and member of the U.S. History, Pep, Booster and Weaving Clubs. She also enjoyed shopping, listening to music, sharing meals, taking scenic drives and the tranquility of the beach.
Nancy was a devoted homemaker and skilled bookkeeper. Her spirit was characterized by her gentle demeanor, her kindness, and the quiet fortitude with which she faced life's challenges.
In accordance to her wishes, a private service will be honored. The family respectfully suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center in memory of Nancy's compassionate spirit.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the medical staff and caregivers who provided Nancy with comfort and compassionate care, and to Brown and Sons Funeral Home in preparing Nancy's final dignified journey to everlasting peace.
