In loving memory of Nellie Rice Wilder of Bradenton, Florida - Nellie passed on October 28, 2026, at the age of 86.
She moved to Bradenton in 1960. She worked for the Sarasota Herald Tribune in Bradenton for many years before retiring. She was a loving, kind and generous mother and grandmother. She loved Las Vegas and dining out.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Pearson, Carol Ward, and Cary Wilder; her brothers Bill Rice, Homer Rice, and John Rice, her sister Myrtle Dillingham; her grandchildren Billy Hertzog, Justin Pearson, Sean Weaver, Kristen Pearson, Jenna Pearson and Josh Wilder; her great grandchildren Grace, Wade, Taylor, Quentin, Rayne, Eva, and Leira.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Claude Wilder and sister Jeri Carter.
Nellie will live in our hearts forever.
