The political ads on television are truly disturbing and disgusting. With false information and personal attacks by both parties, why would anyone want to vote for either candidate? If you take the ads at face value, both candidates are nothing but lying, cheating scumbags!
Maybe it’s been this way, historically, but I don’t remember that it’s been this bad in the past. I remember when Ozzie and Harriet couldn’t be shown in the same bed together on a sitcom…now television allows outright lies, distorted facts and character assassination.
Joe McClash nailed it on the head in his comments in the Opinion section of this outlet, except both sides of the aisle need to step up. We need more politicians with Joe’s integrity.
