New Year's Eve on Main Street

Bradenton and Sarasota's Main Streets will be ringing in 2023 with free concerts and block party events. Celebrate with live music, a traditional New Year countdown, fireworks, food and drink, and more!

DOWNTOWN BRADENTON

Main Street Live (MSL) returned earlier this year, bringing back its monthly live music and street party to Old Main in downtown Bradenton. This weekend, MSL will be throwing a party to top all block parties of 2022. Saturday's free New Year's Eve event will feature live music from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., food trucks, artisan vendors and an inflatable slide for kids, as well as the event’s first annual hotdog eating contest.
  • Saturday, Dec 31, beginning at 6 p.m.
  • Old Main Street at 12th Street West between Manatee Avenue and Third Avenue
  • Tropical Reggae band Seranation with Trevor Bystrom Band opening
  • New Year's countdown with fireworks at midnight

DOWNTOWN SARASOTA

Sarasota's annual Pineapple Drop Block Party is the city's biggest celebration of the year! Sarasota's traditional New Year’s Eve celebration includes a wide range of entertainment and attractions throughout the day, starting at 1 p.m. and running right through 1 a.m. There will be live music, carnival rides, games for the kids and food and drinks. The midnight countdown drops the big glowing pineapple at midnight at the intersection of Lemon Avenue and Main Street.
  • Saturday, Dec 31, beginning at 1 p.m.
  • 1 North Lemon Ave at Main Street
  • Live music begins at 9 p.m. with performances by 22N, Chas Collinsand DJs of SRQ Beats.
  • Countdown and Pineapple drop at midnight followed by fireworks
