Norma Joan (Jo) Kiger was born on September 16, 1930, to Benjamin and Frances Reuzenaar and died peacefully on October 9th at Tidewell Hospice, Bradenton FL.
She was the rock of our family in good times and bad. She dearly loved her William Kiger, her children Julie Knowles (Hal), Mark Cavanaugh (Sandra) and Jill Darnell (Jeff). She had 7 grandchildren, Eric, Katie, Susan, Tom, Mary, Christine and Jake, and 7 great- children.
She was an avid reader, bridge player, golfer, and cook. Jo loved to socialize and made friends easily with her vibrant personality.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Cavanaugh and great-granddaughter, Sara Rose.
Visitation and Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 8th at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 318 N 9th St Rd, Lafayette, IN 47904.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
Burial will be immediately following at St. Mary's Cemetery.
