12. COMMISSIONERS’ COMMENTS --
Williams -- Asked Tusing if the smoke testing on the well was going good, Tusing said yes.
Varnadore -- "I wanted to remind the mayor and commission that the alcohol ordinance needed very little work to be completed. Varnadore said that they are the only government that still convenes meetings on President's Day and thinks future schedules should not continue that practice.
Davis -- Davis asked Tusing if a stop sign could be added to 12th St. and 24th. He said there are a series of them and then 12th is without. The Mayor thought the stop sign from 13th could be moved to 12th because the one at 13th isn't needed.
Cornwell -- I am proud of what we do here in the City of Palmetto.
Smith -- said the King holiday at Lincoln Park weekend is going to be great; adding there would be music from 3 to 9 p.m. and that a $5 band will get you on all of the rides you can ride on for the day.
