PALMETTO -- At Monday's Palmetto City Commission meeting, members approved a continuance to the second meeting for the mobile food vender ordinance. For those watching this closely, a vote will likely come soon. In other business, commissioners chose not to move yet on a vote for funding the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council.

4.  PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE 2013-02 MOBILE FOOD VENDORS AND TEMPORARY USES

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF PALMETTO, FLORIDA, AMENDING CODE OF ORDINANCES, ZONING CODE, TO PROVIDE FOR A DEFINITION OF MOBILE VENDORS; REVISING THE CURRENT TEMPORARY USE PERMIT CRITERIA AND ADDING CRITERIA FOR USE AND OPERATION OF MOBILE VENDORS, INCLUDING PUSH CARTS AND TEMPORARY VENDORS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Open the public hearing from April 15, 2013.

8.  ASR WELL UPDATE -- Allen Tusing: Getting complaints about tree removal. Mayor says there are 200 trees that have been donated.

-- City Clerk -- Jim Freeman -- Budget is in and waiting for comments and will be delivered soon. There is more information that will come out as things move forward.

-- Police Chief -- Rick Wells -- We are ready for last day of school. We' make sure they all get home safe to have a happy summer.

Barnebey -- Mayor has asked for a shopping cart ordinance -- will be ready soon.

10.  MAYOR’S REPORT -- No First Friday complaints. Will be approved for next month.
