PALMETTO -- Palmetto will return from one of its best seasons ever, having lost many of its key players, including a trio of receivers who've gone on to play at the college level. The team will be lead RB Josh Hicks, who rushed for 1,000 yards as a sophomore before battling through an injury laden 2012. The Panthers looked very raw in their 13-3 pre-season loss to Riverview and will have to step it up in their opener Friday night against a very tough Venice squad.
