Palmetto to Again Observe National Day of Prayer on May 1

PALMETTO – The 63rd annual observance of the National Day of Prayer will be celebrated at the Palmetto Historical Park on Thursday, May 1, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

This year's theme is "One Voice United in Prayer" based on Romans 15:6: "So that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Guest speakers, special music and refreshments are planned for the program. The National Day of Prayer Local Task Force is comprised of PalmettoBUILD, local clergy and local businesses.

You are invited to join us as we celebrate the freedom to gather, the freedom to worship and the freedom to pray. We pray for our nation, our military and all elected officials.

The Palmetto Historical Park is located at 515 10th Avenue West in Palmetto.
