Posted

Pamela Fox Seykora was born on February 26, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio. She was raised in St. Louis Park and Golden Valley, Minnesota. She graduated from Hopkins High School in 1969. She received her last hugs from all four of her children and escaped further suffering from her cancer on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Her final days were spent in Plainview, MN to receive the best medical care and loving support from her family.

Pam is known for her boundless optimism, everlasting spring of loving warmth, courage, and strength. She pioneered a move from Maple Grove to Owatonna, MN seeking a better life. In 2005, she fought and survived acute myelogenous leukemia with help from the Mayo Clinic. She later created her happy place in Florida, where she spent most of the last ten years hosting friends and family in Bradenton. She was an exemplary single mother, raising her four children in an umbrella of love no matter what challenges she or her children faced.

She was an accomplished painter and poet. She loved to cuddle her cats and tend her garden. She was a hard worker, always engaged in do-it-yourself projects, and consistently passionate about sharing the richness of life with friends and family. She was a joy to many, a faithful Christian, and her love left many lives transformed.

Pam will be deeply missed by her loving children, extended family, many friends, and all who were fortunate to know her. She is survived by her children Jason, Alayna, Maria, and Stephanie; her sister Michele and husband Craig; her sister Stephanie; her brother Michael and his wife Nicole; her stepmother Jessica; her nieces Natalie, Julia, and Chelsea; her nephew Alex; and her grandchildren Griffon, Raven, Andrew, Aurora, Miles, Jeremiah, Micah, and Thea. She is preceded in death by Stephanie’s husband Tim Jacobsen, her father Michael J. Fox, and her beloved mother Maria Spiros Fox.

Although she no longer walks this Earth with us, we feel her spirit and thrive on her legacy. Her memory fills our hearts with love and hope, and we strive to emulate her strengths.

Her Celebration of Life is on February 28, 2026 from 1 to 4 PM at Minnesota Valley Country Club on 6300 Auto Club Road in Minneapolis, MN 55438. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family can be made at Schleicher Funeral Home on Pam’s behalf:

In closing, Pam wanted to share these words:

I loved my children and grandchildren more than life and am so proud of each and every one. My life was so blessed by them all. I was blessed to have experienced my little Florida home and life by the water. Do not mourn me but rejoice in the love we shared and memories we made. Watch for cardinals and butterflies...I will always be around.
