PARRISH – Each year at the end of the Parrish Heritage Day Parade, folks wander down to the Florida Railroad Museum to sample some of the best chili the Sunshine State has to offer. Think you've got what it takes to take a shot at the crown? Get ready, this year's event is just around the corner.

Bring your biggest pot, bring your Grandma's chili recipe, and Bring It ON! say the organizers at the Parrish Civic Association, who sponsore the event.

All proceeds benefit the The Parrish Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization who provides grants to groups who serve the residents of the Parrish community.

All chili must be made from scratch on the event premises.
