Southington, CT / Bradenton, FL – Pasquale Ralph Cassella, Jr., 88, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025. Born in Southington, Connecticut, on September 24, 1936, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Ann Cassella. Pasquale proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1963, embodying the values of honor, loyalty, and service throughout his life.

A deeply spiritual man, his quiet faith anchored his strength and love for others. On December 19, 1959, he married the love of his life, Margaret (DeMarco) Cassella. Together, they shared 65 years of unwavering devotion, building a beautiful life centered around family. Pasquale graduated from Southington High School in Connecticut in 1956, where he was a standout athlete and was later inducted into the Southington Sports Hall of Fame in 2010. 

He worked for over 25 years as a superintendent with Hardaway Construction, known for his strong work ethic and respected leadership.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; his three children: Donna (Cassella) Barker and her husband Eddie, Pam (Cassella) Poscich, and Patrick Cassella and his wife Elena. He was the proud and loving grandfather of Steven, Nicholas, Michael, Eric, Sienna, and Evan. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Cassella, and his sister, Ann Cassella. He is also survived by his sister, Lucy Maratea of Connecticut.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by a service from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Brown & Sons Funeral Home, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, Florida. A Private Burial will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery.

Pasquale will be remembered as a proud Marine, a man of quiet faith, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and a true Yankees fan. His legacy of strength, humility, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
