Patricia Ann Haehnel, affectionately known as Pat to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025. Born in 1939 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Pat's life journey took her from her roots to the Garden State to the sunny shores of Bradenton, Florida, where she gently departed from this world.

Pat was the beloved wife of Alfred Paul Haehnel, and together they navigated the waters of life with love and dedication. Pat is survived by her brother, Ralph (Sandy) Zerr, and their children. She was a cherished mother to Terri (Jack) Missar, Christopher Haehnel, Victoria (Elliot) Davis Shalita, and Cathy (Brian) Preston.

Her role as grandmother to Stephanie, Jacqueline, Kristen (Jason), Wes (Alyssa), Kyle, Megan (Michael), and Carynna brought her immense joy. She also delighted in her title of great-grandmother to Jase, Liam, Amelia, Sophia, and JP, which she carried with pride and adoration.

A proud graduate of Muhlenberg High School, Pat's sense of ambition and drive was evident early on. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as she became the owner of The Packard Motel, a beloved establishment on the resort island of Wildwood, New Jersey. This venture not only showcased her business acumen but also her innate ability to create warm and welcoming spaces for all who visited. In addition to her business endeavors, Pat served diligently as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Vigilant Star Corporation, where her organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail were greatly valued.

Pat's interests were a reflection of her love for the simple pleasures in life. She found solace in the pages of a good book, joy in sitting on her porch, and peace in feeling the sea breeze on her face. These moments of tranquility and reflection were treasures in her life, offering her a deep sense of contentment.

The legacy Pat leaves behind is one of unwavering love for her family and the enduring impact of her work ethic. Each family member, friend, and acquaintance who crossed paths with Pat can attest to her generosity. As we bid farewell to Patricia Ann Haehnel, we remember a life lived with purpose and grace-a journey marked by the love she gave and the love she received.

Her memory will continue to be a beacon of light for her family and all who had the privilege to know her. Pat's spirit will forever be cherished, and her presence deeply missed.
