Patricia M. Maberry, 87, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Born on January 8, 1938, in Madison, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Raymond N. and Lillian M. Dame.

Patricia graduated from Cardinal Stritch College and devoted her life to education, a career she deeply cherished. Her passion for teaching and her love for children left an enduring mark on countless young lives. It was during her time at St. Martha Catholic School in Sarasota that she met her beloved husband, David. Together, they shared a love that was extraordinary, and she is now surely at peace, reunited with him.

Patricia had a remarkable gift for bringing her ideas to life through her crafts. Whether it was sewing, painting, knitting or creating handmade decorations, anything she could imagine, she could make happen with her skilled hands and creative mind. Her crafting wasn't just a hobby; it was a way to bring joy and beauty into the lives of others. Beyond her crafts, she loved collecting and making bears, the thrill of playing the slot machines, the camaraderie of bingo nights, and the fun of card games with friends and family. Patricia had a deep love of animals, especially poodles. Lillie was the beloved poodle of both Patricia and David.

She is lovingly remembered by her children Mark and his wife Kim Dressendorfer, Ann and her husband Danny Waters, Richard and his wife Jen Dressendorfer; brothers Richard and his wife Susan Dame, Joe and his wife Patty Dame; brother-in-law Michael Korsch; as well as her grandchildren Christine, William, Elizabeth, Danielle, DJ, Michael, Brittany, Shannon, Samantha, Joe; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her loving sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Korsch.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church in Sarasota.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations in Patricia's memory to a local school or http://satchelslastresort.org/ animal sanctuary.
