Patricia (Wells) Millslagle passed away peacefully during the early hours of June 4, 2024. She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, James Millslagle and her older brother, Craig F. Wells. She is survived by her sister, Marian (Wells) Bryan and her husband, Anthony G. Bryan, Erik Millslagle and his wife, Lisa (Birdsell) Millslagle of Acworth, GA., MaryAnn Pawloski and her husband, George.

Patricia graduated from the University of New Hampshire on August 16, 1968, with a Liberal Arts degree. She moved to Boston with some of her college friends where they managed to room together near downtown, Boston. Patricia became involved with Social Service and eventually focused on young children in a program called "Babies Can't Wait ". Leaving Boston for Georgia where she met her beloved, Jim, she again took up work again with babies and toddlers and introduced a similar program of Babies Can't Wait. She became the Director for the County and was awarded Woman of the Year.

If there is a legacy to claim, it is Pat's love for the little ones and her grandchildren: Zachary, Savannah and Tyler Porter and her special favorite, Victor Millslagle named for his grandfather.

May my dear sister find everlasting peace in the arms of Jesus, the love of the father and the healing of the Holy Spirit.

Her funeral will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradenton, Florida, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday June 11, 2024, before being flown to Acworth Georgia, for burial at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.

Please, no flowers. If you wish to contribute to a charity in Pat's name, may I suggest St. Jude or a children's charity of your choice.

Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34207, is in charge of arrangements.
