Patricia Ann Zink
March 6, 1942 - May 9, 2025
Collierville, Tennessee - Patricia Ann (Davis) Zink, age 83, went to be with Jesus on May 9, 2025. She is now restored to full health and joyfully reunited with many loved ones she dearly missed.
Born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan, Patricia graduated from Port Huron High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Harper Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. A dedicated and compassionate nurse, Patricia cared for others right up to her final days.
She married Gary Zink in 1966. They began their married life in San Francisco before returning to Michigan to raise their family. Patricia worked at Hurley Medical Center in Oncology and, after retirement, continued to care for patients through travel nursing before finally hanging up her nursing hat for full time fun in Bradenton, Fl.
Pat was devoted to her family, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. She had a zest for life and a warm, welcoming spirit. Her favorite pastimes included meeting new people, playing cards, golfing, attending church, reading, watching Hallmark movies, and making Christmas candy. She was always the life of the party, with endless energy. Patricia's legacy of love, faith, and compassion will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
Patricia will be missed by her daughters Lori (Bruce) Shrader, Kimberly (Paul) Rivera, and Marci Zink; her cherished grandchildren Bryan (Amanda) Zink, Kyle Zink, Heather Zink, Zee Zink, Reese Rivera, Andrew Rivera, Matthew Rivera, Emma Shrader, Hannah Tousey, and Tate Tousey; and great-grandchildren Nora and Remy Zink and nephews Terry (Christine) Davis and Jeff (Beth) Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Zink, her son Michael Zink, her stepson Richard Zink, her mother Ila Jean Davis, her brother Robert Davis, and her son-in-law Troy Tousey.
