Patrick Anthony Rosati Jr., known to many as Pat, passed away on June 13, 2026, in Bradenton, Florida, from natural causes.

He was born on October 30, 1944, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and lived a life marked by devotion, hard work, and a spirited love for family, friends, and the simple joys that made each day meaningful.

Pat grew up in Bridgeport and attended Central High School, where he began building the foundation of the steady and dependable character that would define him throughout his life. From an early age, he enjoyed playing baseball as a youth, and that love of sports stayed with him through the years. He carried with him a competitive spirit, a sense of camaraderie, and an appreciation for the friendships formed through shared experiences and time spent together.

Pat devoted 27 years of service to the United States Postal Service as a City Carrier. He took great pride in his work and in the routine of serving his community with reliability and care. His years with the Postal Service reflected his strong work ethic and his commitment to doing his job well. Those who knew him appreciated his consistency, his sense of responsibility, and the quiet dignity with which he approached his daily life.

Outside of work, Pat found great enjoyment in playing golf with friends. The game gave him time to relax, laugh, and enjoy the company of those around him. He also loved to travel with his wife, Rosalind, and together they shared many cherished experiences over the course of their life together. Their marriage of 34 years was a source of deep companionship and lasting love.  Rosalind preceded him in death, and her memory remained an important part of his life and the lives of those who loved them both.

Pat is survived by his sons, Patrick Rosati, age 48, and Micheal Rosati, age 46, and Micheal’s wife, Angel, age 46. He also leaves behind two beloved grandchildren, Coleson, age 6, and Monroe, age 5, who brought him great joy. In addition, he is remembered by many family members and friends whose lives were touched by his presence, his humor, and his spirited nature.

Those who knew Pat will remember him as a man who lived with energy and heart. He had a spirited personality that made him memorable and easy to be around. He valued time spent with others, whether on the golf course, on a trip with his wife, or in the company of family and friends. He understood the importance of showing up for the people he loved and of making the most of the moments he was given.

Pat’s life was one of steady devotion, quiet strength, and enduring love. He leaves behind a legacy of family, service, and friendship that will continue to be cherished by all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the many lives he touched along the way.
