With her husband, Earl, at her side, Patsy Ruth Pahl went peacefully to her eternal home with Jesus Christ on October 10, 2023. Patsy was born to Fern and George Gropp of New Buffalo, Michigan on July 16, 1934. She was a lifelong resident of New Buffalo, Michigan until 1992 when she and Earl moved to Bradenton, Florida.
Patsy attended New Buffalo High School where she excelled in academics and graduated as class salutatorian in 1952. On June 21, 1952 she married her life-long love, Earl Pahl.
Patsy is fondly remembered for her unwavering faith in God and selfless devotion to her husband and family. Together with Earl, she enjoyed many years of camping and travel across the US and abroad. In addition, she leaves a legacy of service to the United Methodist Church for her service in administration, worship chorus, caring and visitation of friends in need.
Surviving Patsy is her husband of 71 years, Earl Pahl of Bradenton, FL; daughter Linda Adrian (Steve) of Plainfield, IN; son Brian Pahl (Jewell) of Winona Lake, IN; grandchildren Adam Pahl (Kristin) of Warsaw, IN; Zachary Pahl of Westfield, IN; and Michael Pahl (Stephanie) of Winona Lake, IN and five great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service for family and friends will take place at the Trinity United Methodist Church of Bradenton in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church of Bradenton in her name.
