Paula Lou (Gick) Cox, 77, of Ellenton, Florida, Went to Heaven on November 18, 2025, Born January 4, 1948, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Paula spent her life surrounded by the people and things she loved most. She was the devoted wife of Paul Cox, loving mother of Brooks (Rhonda) Biggs and Gena (Dan) Wolf, and cherished grandmother ("Mamaw") to Danielle, Brittany, and Kaylee Wolf. She was also a caring stepmother to Rod and Chris Cox and delighted in her many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Laura (Michael) Jaicomo and her brother, Greg P. (Karen) Gick. Her brother, John Gick, predeceased her.
Paula loved being active in nature, whether that be out on the lake kayaking, taking hikes in the woods or tending to her gardens. Bigger than her love for nature was her love of the holidays. She was a true "holiday fanatic", taking every opportunity to enjoy each holiday with gusto. Her love for her family knew no bounds, which will make it easy to hold tight all the wonderful memories she created. We should all find peace knowing she's back to being feisty and thriving in heaven.
