Pearlie Mae Blue-Allen was born on November 12,
1936, in Marks, Mississippi, to Otis Sr. and Laura Bell Blue.
The family relocated to Palmetto, Florida, in 1957.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Joseph
Allen; and seven siblings, Otis Jr., Manuel, Andy, Laura
Ann, Jimmy Lee, Roosevelt, and Louise Blue.
Pearlie Mae was a domestic worker and loved gospel music.
Lee Williams was her favorite singer. She loved watching
sports. She was a member of Geninue Hope Ministries under
Pastors Joe Jr. and Dr. Marvin Allen.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Gloria
Blue, Joe Allen, Jr. (Marvina), Rodney Allen (Ella), and
Tressie Allen; ten grandchildren, Dwight (Shelly), Qiyauna
(Kendrick), Eboni, Timothy Jr. (Shannon), Roshonda
(Clifford), Shana (Antonio), Kenneth, Kendrick, Kedric,
and Tyler; one brother, Willie Blue; three sisters, Johnnie
Lou Magwood, Dorothy Mae Flowers, and Mary Gee; four
sisters-in-law, Gladys Blue, Eva Mae Blue, Sharon Blue,
and Dorothy Blue; eighteen great-grandchildren and fifteen
great-great-grandchildren; and she also leaves to morn her passing: many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
