7. Open Port Authority Meeting-- Port Manatee's Chief Financial Officer and Senior Director of Business, Bob Armstrong, asked the Port Authority Board to approve an agreement releasing Air Products (AP) from any liabilities to the property just purchased from HRK.
The purchaser of the property, Air Products and Chemical Bank, wished to finalize the agreement, and a pipe returning sea water back to the port remains on the property. AP will maintain the pipe, but wants no liabilities attached to the pipe or any other unfinished business HRK still has with the county.
In order to get clear title to the property, AP needs to define their liabilities. Motion to release AP from liabilities of the HRK property -- Approved, Unanimous
