Pipe failure open hole in road in Parrish

A failed pipe has undermined the road on Rye Road in Parrish, the county said Tuesday afternoon.

Nicholas Azzara, the county's information outreach coordinator, said a hole has opened up in the road on Rye Road from County Road 675 to Golf Course Road. Click here for a Google map of the affected area.

Azzara said the county hopes to have it repaired by tomorrow.
