PODCAST: Interview with Singer/Actor Mandy Patinkin

Posted

MANATEE--There's been only a handful of performers who have conquered all three mediums of show business: stage, film and television. Mandy Patinkin fits into that elite group. From his Broadway debut as Che in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Evita", where he won a Tony Award to starring in Stephen Sondheim's "Sunday in the Park with George" and later in "The Secret Garden, Mandy Patinkin has made Broadway history as one of its legendary stars. His work on television's "Chicago Hope" and most recently "Criminal Minds" has made him a household name. His films have included "Ragtime", "The Princess Bride" and "Everybody's Hero".

On February 14, he will be headlining a concert at Van Wezel Hall beginning at 8:00 p.m.

The Bradenton Times spoke with Mandy Patinkin and that interview is posted below.
