Police and Local Church Raising Funds for This Year's Honoring the Badge Event

BRADENTON  — The Kingdom Life church is working to raise enough money for 100 inner-city children to shop with a Bradenton Police Officer for Christmas with a $25.00 gift certificate at this year's Honoring the Badge event on December 16.

The group's fundraising goal to facilitate the event is $5,000. Last year, they were able to include approximately 160 children in the event.
