Port Manatee Displays New Hybrid Security Vehicles

MANATEE--The Port Authority displayed its five new hybrid security vehicles in front of the Intermodal Center at Thursday's regular meeting.

5 New Port Security Vehicles Funded By Gov't Grant

Executive Director David McDonald reported the purchase of these vehicles was 100% funded from a federal grant.

The security vehicles are U.S. made white hybrid 2010 SUV models with all-wheel drive capabilities. All security vehicles exteriors are marked with Manatee County Port Authority approved logo and appropriate lettering as defined by the Manatee County Port Authority.
