BRADENTON -- The Southeast Seminoles avenged their 16-13 loss to Palmetto last season, coming up with a big win against the Tigers Friday night that secured the 5A district championship, in a game that is quickly becoming the most competitive rivalry in Manatee County. The Manatee Hurricanes cruised to 51-19 win over Sarasota to win the District 10 7A title. Lakewood Ranch fell just short of a playoff spot, losing to Osceola 29-20. The Mustangs will finish up their season next week at Manatee.
Bradenton Christian finished their season with a win, while Braden River fell to Venice.
