MANATEE COUNTY -- The big showdown between Manatee and Palmetto is tonight, as both top-ranked, undefeated teams battle for local supremacy (full preview). Lakewood Ranch hosts a tough Largo squad in what should be a well-matched game. The struggling Bayshore Bruins take on a 4-3 DeSoto team that is better than its record, while Southeast shouldn't have much trouble getting revenge against Hardee, who kept them out of the playoffs last season.
