Program to teach plant propagation

BRADENTON - Homeowners looking to add their plants need not go out and buy new ones.

One inexpensive way to acquire new plants is to take cuttings. At a class on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. you can learn a few basics of propagating plants.

The Propagation for Homeowners workshop will be held at the Manatee County Extension Service, 1303 17th St. W. in Palmetto. Register online for this free workshop at or call the Master Gardener Office at 722-4524 or 742-5986.
