Project Light of Manatee to Honor Sister Nora Brick at 2011 Annual Meeting

BRADENTON--Project Light of Manatee, Inc., a literacy center in Manatee County that offers free English lessons to individuals wishing to learn or increase their English language abilities, will conduct its annual meeting on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Project Light will make a special presentation to its founder, Sister Nora Brick, OSF, in recognition of her vision, leadership, and dedication to Project Light. The meeting will be held at the Project Light facility located at 1104 14th Street West in Bradenton. 
 
Project Light will review its accomplishments for 2010, as well as acknowledge and honor those volunteer instructors and students whose commitment and accomplishments were of significant note during the past year.
 
Anyone interested in Project Light and the services it provides is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
 
Project Light of Manatee, Inc. is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization providing free English language instruction in Manatee County. All instructors are volunteers, as well as the Board of Directors and Staff. Project Light is funded through the generosity of individual donors as well as grants from private foundations.
