Bradenton, Florida - Ramona Easter (Lovey) passed peacefully on June 22, 2024 at the age of 73 in Bradenton, FL. She was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. While attending Ursuline Academy she was the student body President and on the mayor's youth council.
Ramona attended Wroxton College in Wroxton England and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University cum laude with a degree in English.
Ramona was a long time resident of Haworth, NJ where she worked as a Special Education Teacher and Child Care Provider. She was a Stephen Minister at The Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palm City, where she helped many people and was a member of The Peace Presbyterian Church in Bradenton, where she sang in the choir and volunteered at Beth el mission.
Her passions were singing, reading and gardening. But most of all it was raising her children. She will always be remembered for her winning smile, cheerful outlook for life and her kindness.
Ramona is survived by her beloved husband William M. Easter III, of 46 years. They were married in Wimbledon Village England; her loving daughter, Brittany Bower and son-in-law Mark, her two cherished grandchildren, Evelyn Grace and Hannah Margaret; sisters Pam Bailey and Terry Milton and brother, Larry Jones. She is preceded in death by her son, William M. Easter IV.
There will be a celebration of her life at Peace Presbyterian Church, 12705 FL 64 East Bradenton, FL 34212, on Saturday July 27, 2024 at 11 AM, with lunch to follow.
